4026 is on the 37A/31 circuit today, very quick bus! Much better than 4027 which seems to plod along at a snails pace, also what do folks think of the re-configured disabled area layout? Personally meself I like it a lot better now they've removed the partition near the stairs & put extra disabled seats in plus the extra wide tip ups.

Also 4215 is back on the road today at last! Noted heading back to the depot from winsford centre approx 10:40am today. The darts are nearing the end now it seems with 867 the latest victim, could this be end of an area for darts working with winsford???

4215 failed on the 0835 Northwich to Mount Pleasant with electrical problems and was replaced at Wharton. 4026 had replaced 4156 which had failed Leighton Hospital with a burst hose on the first working down to Crewe on the 31. 4026 was originally on the 29 diagram but was removed due to bells not working. It was not the best morning for Winsford.

The bells etc seemed be working fine on 4026 when I had it. Seemed kinda slow but to be expected with 70+ passengers on board, ruddy warm tho even with all wi does wide open upstairs it was sweltering with the heaters seemingly permanently on!

4027 was on the 10 Bollingtons yesterday in Macclesfield!

3615 soldiering on. Seen at Acton yesterday on the 1035 84 long from Chester to Crewe.

4215 was out on the 2 (Northwich Local) today!

Far as i'm aware macc have still got 4027, its here coz 2 of our optares are off the road atm. Macc driver has said one has water pump probs etc, other not sure.

4215 doesn't seem to be lasting too well atm, breaks down on a regular occurence! Think its still got its share of electrical gremlins, 4216 carries on as norm tho. 4215/16 are really nice buses, shows what arriva can achieve when they're actually willing to splash the wonga & do high quality re-furbs.

That's exactly what they did do with a large number of the DLAs. From memory the following DLAs had a full refurbishment inside including new seat covers, backs and full panel-work repaint: 4038/42/50/57/58/59/60/61/62/63/64/65/73/74/82/94/98/99/141/42/56/58/60. There may be more. All of these had a lot of money spent on improving their interiors and looked absolutely spot on when first brought up, contrasting greatly with those that had minimal interior investment (like 4143).

The second batch of VLWs do look decent internally - a lot better than the 4200-05 set ever did and the DLPs aren't too brilliant inside either.

I finally caught up with 3615 for the first time today - on the 84 shorts. Also had a ride on 4215 and 4489 on longs. Some of the Chesters were leaving Crewe ten or more minutes late which meant they were losing more time to Nantwich as they were carrying passengers that would have normally been on the short a few minutes behind.

Saw 4141 with its back end on a truck trying to get fixed today whilst i was on route from chester to crewe on 4026
