It was sold to PVS in Barnsley, And someone brought it from there, Although I can't remember who, They also got another Olympian.

Was chatting to one of the winsford drivers a few weeks ago, says he's heard from depot staff that the daf DLAs are going to be replaced in next 12-18 months or so. Any truth behind this?

If so what will replace em? Guessing it'll be more gemini deckers like 4489, but quite partial to arrivas re-furbished paxton presidents that are running the 19A route off altrincham at the min.

Time will tell, but I'd say it's much more likely the DLAs will be replaced by more cascaded stock, possibly more of the Presidents you describe. The three Geminis Winsford received a couple of years ago were the first double deckers new to the depot in a number of years as far a I know.

My driver friend said we are getting Y-Reg buses from Birkenhead, which made me quite suprised!, That would cover the Y-ABA's, Otherwise, He could of meant that type, meaning the DLP's

Nah it wouldn't be that, it'll be a batch, I'm sticking with the DLP's, But it's just a wait and see!

Hi Dave4jackie, Routes 2&4 interwork and have Darts on them, route 1 tends to have anything from a decker to cadet!

A friend told me only wythenshawe are getting Presidents but a guy on a facebook group is so adamant that winsford are getting some I highly doubt they are seeing as they just recently got the ALX400's

Hi. That guy is me. WE ARE GETTING RID OF THE DAF ALX400's! They are being replaced with presidents from London, and a few buses from Birkenhead, I've been told.
