Very true it's a bleedin nightmare sometimes getting along oxford rd & the 142/143 routes.

On another note, I've noticed that a couple of winsford drivers now seem to be at macc permanently & 2 ex D&G drivers are now with arriva too. Honestly I can't keep up with which drivers work for who now!!!

The 130 takes barely 25 minutes off-peak, wheras anything through Didsbury and along Wilmslow Road is at least 10 minutes longer - plus waiting time. And, whilst that might not be much inbound, how much do you allow outbound to make sure you don't miss your hourly service?

Is there much cross East Didsbury traffic though ?

The trade off surely, is cutting it back, increasing running/stand time, therefore improving the currently poor reliability over 80% of the route, or upsetting cross East Didsbury passengers.

What's the least worst option ?.

To use that over used phrase 'something has to be done'

But the extra bus into the pvr would give more valuble drop back time at either end and would no doubt help the reliability issue.

Sapphire 4490 had an altercation with D&G Commander 147 in Crewe Bus Station today. Definitely didn't make my journey sparkle! Sustained some front end bodywork damage and smashed windows

That's that off the road for the week then! Macc have still got the twins here 2609 & 2610.

Noticed that 2609 has been slightly upgraded as it's had blue leather seats fitted.

Been confirmed on the wrexham thread that enviro 400s 4410/21/22 are headed to winsford.

2609 is covering 38s whilst 4490 is having repairs following it's accident.

4490 has today returned to duty. You can hardly tell it's had a knock, just some new paint on the front panel under the drivers cab windscreen.

Winsford have got solo 700 on loan from macc which has traded places with 709. Pleasantly surprised to see transbus mini pointer dart 894 still going strong in crewe. Although it's an older bus now it appears to be going strong & hasn't gotten too battered.

4215 is back on the road after almost 3 months VOR. 4185 still looks to be VOR.
908 is withdrawn for scrap. 894 still in service and is one of the vehicles due to be displaced by the new minibuses Im told.

4181 is now here for an additional school contract, along with 2473 which arrived last week.

Has 2473 been in service?
