Go Ahead would be almost certain to bid for franchises in the LCR, as would likely Metroline, plus incumbents Stagecoach & Arriva....although there is a limit on how much any one company can win.

Going back 25 or 26 years ago Go Ahead along with Stagecoach were the preferred bidders for MTL before Arriva gazumped them.
It conjures the thoughts of What if???

Do like the attention of detail with that livery especially the MTL style fleetname's including there own version of the Trust holdings logo over the door
Wonder if this is things to come with logos etc if they get a Merseyside depot a return of MTL style logos and depot codes

Everything will be METRO, although could have heritage liveries for trainers etc....as in Manchester

GNW Heywood Depot will close at the end of February, A New Depot will open in Bolton on Nelson Street, Talking about 2 Minutes from the other Bolton Depot so therefore GNW will have Two Bolton Depots

Nelson St will be a seperate operation, much like Heywood is now, just with much better facilities.
It will have its own staff, own management, own buses, own work etc etc

Will Nelson Street have the same vehicle allocation that Heywood currently has or will they share allocations with Weston Street? In other words will the same B9s, EvoSeti's and Enviro400s that are currently allocated to Heywood Depot be allocated to Nelson Street?

Funny they would run as 2 units when you can just park buses up there with all admin done a few minutes' walk away, along with the fitters based at Weston st. Go ahead, London, do this with sub-depots that are just yards full of buses and a cabin.
