It is nice to see the Class 319 units starting to move from there original stomping ground on Thameslink / First Capital Connect .
Everything seems to be slowly fitting into place after the delays caused by the late financial close on the deal with Siemens for the new stock for Thameslink.

I do wonder once the Halton Curve eventually is available for service in both direction that the main user of the line may not be Northern or its successor franchise , but could be the Wales franchise currently in the hands of Arriva Trains Wales.

The depot wires are not currently live.
They'll need to be live soon! I've heard it's first 3, but willing to be corrected.

Contractors are currently at work at the depot.
How does Roby and Huyton now operate since the work was completed .
Which trains run off which platforms at these locations .
