I’ve noticed a Blackpool Transport E200MMC in Levenshulme today, presume its route learning for rail replacements for the Stockport blockade next month.

Sounds about right Blackpool Transport have done quite a bit of Rail and Tram replacements in/around Manchester in the past.

Does anyone know what's going on with the new buses for Blackpool (not sure if Electric or Diesel)
Heard they were due in new year but all gone quiet
I know they had extensive building work in past 12 months I presume in readiness for new Buses as they rebuilt the sheds at the back of the depot not sure if anything else has been.

Another major change to Blackpool bus services

Interesting to note is the extension of the 5 to Fleetwood to replace Transpora service 24
Also noted in the North West traffic commissioner notices & proceedings is
Cancellations:

Wonder if Transpora are closing? Or is it just find everything's getting moved onto a different licence to tidy it up

Apparently their service 24 isnt going anywhere as its getting rerouted between Blackpool - Bispham - Thornton. They will only withdraw areas of Cleveleys Larkholme and Fleetwood once the route and timetable gets revised.
