Despite a banner saying the system is no longer used

seems to being very effectively kept up to date - far more so than the TOC websites!
196114 is the last one of the class to enter service.
All 26 x Class 323 have been replaced on the Cross City services by Class 730/0.
17 of the 323s are now wth Northern whilst the other 9 are in store at Wolverton.
Apparently the first 350/2s have been stood down as well
I have seen rports that 350244/51/55 have been stored.
3 x 350 duties in the West Midland were taken over on Monday by Class 730/0. These were on Wolverhamton to Walsall (2) and Rugeley to Birmingham International (1).

Cheers for the numbers
All nine Class 323s in store have been moved from Wolverton Works to Long Marston.
LNR offering £15 returns from Liverpool-Birmingham and £25 returns from Liverpool-London as part of their sale. Book in next 2 weeks for travel between 29 June and 31 August.
5 car 730/2s to soon to 'temporarily' rolled out on Liverpool to Birmingham services, but 350s to return once more southern WCML crews sign 730s.

Rumours are LNR have a headache. They need to get the 350/2s returned to Porterbrook ASAP but the RMT aren't happy with the prospect of 5 car 730s stopping at stations like Winsford, when the doors won't be released on the rear set. It seems they don't want to accept the same method of door release Northern have introduced at short platforms when using the 195s and 331s.

As an aside has there been any update on LNR's application to run some Euston to Crewe services through to Manchester Victoria via Warrington? https://www.londonnorthwesternrailway.co...manchester
