TransPennine Express
RE: TransPennine Express
It appears the diagram starting with 1E23 at 05.56 from Lime Street is the mk.5 set this week - no VAR for 5F48 and the ECS Stalybridge-Longsight shown CAN all week.

ECS had a VAR schedule from Ardwick so presumably planned dmu today. 1E23 went via CLC apparently due to a tamper failure.

The units due to work the 06:21 Chester-Leeds (153+158) were allowed to run ECS via Altrincham and the Ordsall Chord to Victoria, which resulted in an unusual site over the Ordsall Chord in the morning peak. Presumably the lack of guards who sign all of the Mid-Cheshire, 153s and 158s prevented that ECS being a passenger service.

RE: TransPennine Express
Surprised no one has mentioned both mk5 diagrams have run since Wednesday, or at least started off.
;
802202 ran empty from Edge Hill to York yesterday in the path of the 06.25 Liverpool-Newcastle, alledgedly cancelled no stock, while its return was shown cancelled due to an operating incident and also had an STP ECS in its path although that didn't run.

;

9M04/9E09 06.03 x Newcastle and 09.25 back were worked by 802201 this morning - filmed arriving York in electric mode and presumably did so between Victoria and Lime St.

;
next leg of diagram was a 185, no idea if that was planned or crewe shortages which have caused both mk.5 sets to retire to Longsight early

The 802 was indeed planned to do just the one round trip. 68s have been terminating randomly of late down to both crew problems and minor faults.
