P and O Lloyd, Bagillt, Holywell.

Five Optare Solo SR's have been purchased by Flintshire County Council and are on loan to P and O Lloyd mainly for use on the Shuttle service. Previous reports of registration numbers were not correct. They are YJ68FSA / FSC / FSD / FSE and FSF. B25F seating and currently in dealer white. Hopefully Shuttle vinyls will be applied soon. Photos of those seen today are YJ68FSA YJ68FSE and YJ68FSF.
They have replaced the following Solos owned by the Council:-
YJ09EZG, YK05CAA, YK05CAE, YJ56ATK and YJ07EHZ
These are currently being stored by P and O on behalf of the Council until a decision is taken on their future.
Seen today was the Council's Solo YK05 CBX which spent sometime with GHA and was then stored for nearly two years. It now sports the smart livery of P and O Lloyd. - <PHOTO>

Jones Motor Services
DAF SB3000 / Van Hool T9 Alizee W217CDN (294DDM) has been sold to Lakeside Coaches, Ellesmere. This only leaves Volvo B10M-62 / Plaxton Premier P894TCK to be sold.

I have a website which looks at the bus and coach operators in North East Wales. There are current fleetlists for all operators and most have a full historic fleet list.
Included are current depot fleet lists for Arriva Cymru. There are also a number of ceased opertators with historic fleet lists including the GHA Group

And this week's has the T2 registered as a through service again, but no cancellation of the split registrations!

This is a temporary registration to cover until the 23rd of Jan as there was a mistake in the Dolgellau - Aberystwyth registration from the 9th, as the route exceeds the 50km limit and therfore a new split registration was required from the 23rd
