Former Merseyside Vehicles in Exile
RE: Former Merseyside Vehicles in Exile
1043 the former Cannon BBT vehicle is still knocking about down south somewhere too.

Oh Superman where are you now, when everything's gone wrong somehow, the men of steel, the men of power, are losing control by the hour.

There's another Jumbo on the Isle of Man other than 1204 and 1235 - I think it's 1181 but I'm not sure

RE: Former Merseyside Vehicles in Exile
very nice!

Maybe somebody can help me out with this too..

We all remember the Tecnobus Gulliver U500EUK battery buses that used to live with First Crosville for route E1 around Birkenhead (who could forget them)

Does anybody know where they all are at this moment in time? I know they passed to John Lennon airport, and I know for sure that 2 of them are still there but can only ID one of them.

Another 2 of them passed to the university of sunderland to trial new fuel ideas, i can only confirm the ID of one of them though.. if anybody knows which ones are where that would be great! I was told one is sat at Delphwood lane indoors used for spares for the selwyns tecnobus pantheons but i have no evidence to show it.

S251 AFA - Uni of Sunderland
S252 AFA - Unknown
S253 AFA - John Lennon Airport (parked by emergency evacuation gate in speke hall car park)
S254 AFA - Unknown
S255 AFA - Unknown
S256 AFA - Unknown

I know there is definatly another at John Lennon, you can see it with flat tyres straight ahead as you turn down the private airport restricted zone on the public bus, however i do not know which one it is.

I also know there is another one at Sunderland Uni, but not sure which one. If anybody knows the location of the other 4, that would be brill!

I saw L141VDM with WE Jones on Anglesey last year, it's either the former L1 or L2SLT, I can't remember which.

There’s also Bear Buses of Feltham F253YTJ ex Merseybus/Lancashire Travel/Arriva 0253/3253. It sometimes operates South West Trains rail replacement services in South West London/Surrey as well as school contracts. Still a nice bus although some of the school contract pond life have been doing their bit to vandalise it as I was on it in September and it had much more seat vandalism than it did 18 months or so ago I was last on it and much more rougher than when it left Speke in 2006Confused
