RE: ACE Travel
As we don't currently have a fleet list, and I can't find an up to date one anywhere else, I've had a go at creating one.

.html  ace-travel.html (Size: 3.86 KB / Downloads: 33)

I haven't gone into as much detail as some of the others (for example, I don't know a lot of the seating capacities), but hopefully it's better than nothing!

Any corrections or updates welcome!

A couple of specific comments:

1) I haven't seen the last remaining Dart MPD, 701, for ages, and am guessing it's gone, although I have left it in until confirmed. (Wherever it is, It remains taxed until the end of this month.)

2) I was surprised to note this morning that LK03 GHA has been given fleet number 302. I wonder if a renumbering of the open toppers from the T series into the 3xx series is imminent?

701 was on the 111 last Thursday and the day before, so not quite gone yet.

Sure enough, PJ53 NKD (formerly T9) is now 301.

List updated!

RE: ACE Travel
Some of Ace Travels evening services were disrupted last night. A major fire involving gas cylinders had broke out on Brookfield drive leading to the evacuation of the whole area including Aces Garage meaning no buses could enter or leave the Garage. Not sure if it also affected Cumfybus the Maghull circulars were running fine when i got home. Cumfys 121 would have been affected with Brookfield drive being completely shut causing traffic to back up onto Lower lane and long lane which would have also affected the Stagecoach 17s and Arriva 61s

RE: ACE Travel
According to Route One magazine, Mistral Bus and Coach have ordered 34 buses from Alexander-Dennis in a deal worth £4m.
24 of these will be Enviro200s and are expected to be delivered to various operators within the next six months.

Needless to say, one of these operators is ACE Travel.
From Route One's website....
http://www.route-one.net/industry/orders...-vehicles/

This seems to be in line with ACE's policy of having in-service buses of less than three years' of age.
As described in a news item from 2012 from Mistral's website.....
