Reading Buses will largely be the standard operator for Berkshire. The only notable routes not run by Reading Buses or their subsidiaries will be those of First Slough, the Carousel route from Slough to High Wycombe, and routes from Reading to High Wycombe or Oxford.

Suspect eventually First will either sell Slough garage to Reading Buses or pull out of Slough altogether thus marking another chapter of expansion for Reading Buses and taking it closer to London, no doubt the next expansion might be Reading Buses bidding for adjoining TfL work.
