Apparently the Shap - Tuebrook & Tuebrook - Ashton in Makerfield Starts tomorrow? No sign of a Locomotive at Shap for this

Whenever it does start running it will be strange seeing Freight going via Thatto Heath

RE: GB Railfreight
According to RTT the service runs MSSuX which means that the first train is tomorrow. That is in RTT showing 0425 from Harrisons Sidings (Shap) to Tuebrook via St Helens Junction arr 0726. Tuebrook dep 0910 via St Helens Central and Bamfurlong arr 0958 at Ashton-in-Makerfield.
I do not know why the train does not run direct but I suspect that the branch may be closed at night and that Tuebrook is an obvious layover point.
Ten out of ten for the enterprise behind the project and lets hope that it succeeds.
