Is Anybus only valid after half 9 or is that no longer a thing?

According to systemonetravel.co.uk the £5 ticket is for all day. There are others that include train or tram use that are off peak.

The SystemOne AnyBus and Stagecoach Manchester days has the same validity in terms of area and finishing times.

The only benefit I could see with the Stagecoach ticket is if you are still able to buy the ticket for the next day after midnight to get up to 28 hours on one ticket.

I've seen a lot of passengers (especially when the ticket was first announced) being sold the more expensive Stagecoach day ticket with one of the drivers appearing to dissuade passengers from buying the £5 ticket.

This is the Stagecoach Manchester ticket boundary:

...and you can see the SystemOne / GetMeThere boundary here:

Very simple explanation.
Operators still offer their own daysavers where they operate services beyond the Greater Manchester boundary. So if travelling to Glossop or Hayfield only a Stagecoach Daysaver would be valid.

For Stagecoach, only the adult Manchester day ticket is valid in the areas. The SystemOne / AnyBus adult day ticket (the one priced at £5) is valid in areas like Glossop and Hayfield as they are part of the expanded section (similar to Bacup, Wilmslow and Lymm):

Any idea when the boundaries were extended? When I drove for MCT we couldn’t sell or accept system one tickets once we entered Tintwhistle on the 237 route. The ticket machines, set up by TFGM would blank system one tickets and acceptance once in Derbyshire.
That would also explain why Stotts are selling system one daysavers and capped fares in Glossop too.

As far as I know the extended TfGM boundaries have always been there, even when I was younger you could use GMPTE tickets to/from Glossop and Bacup can't remember Lymm as never went there but guess they were accepted.

Yep, I've used different SystemOne / getmethere tickets to go to places like Lymm, Wilmslow and Poynton as well.

36781 on the 143 spotted in Piccadilly Gardens today, and another Enviro200 on the 111 yesterday so they are being used on any service out of Sharston, not just 150.

It just seems that its weekdays that Enviro200s are used on 150s as on Saturdays its still operated with deckers in fact the other Saturday there was about 3 of Sharstons BYDs allocated to 150s.
