And it seems to be continuing; 19282 & 19352 seen at the Airport on 330 today - yes, Sunday!

RE: Stagecoach Manchester and Wigan
Due to upcoming roadworks on M56 Sharston Link this weekend the Sharston Link of M56 will be closed Eastbound (heading away from the Airport) from Friday 21:00 until Monday 05:00 obviously this will mean diversions to all 330s heading away from Airport, not to sure of the diversion yet but guessing Stagecoach will put up the diversion later this week.

The Diversion for normal traffic is Princess Parkway then onto M60 at J5 then off at J6 round the roundabouts and back onto M60 then back onto normal route at J4, not to sure if Stagecoach will take this route or will avoid the Motorway altogether.

On the previous westbund diversions both stagecoach and high peak have officially followed that diversion.

Edit : but those were night time only. I wonder if they might use m60 - a34-a555.

Just seen the new timetable for Stagecoach's 230/231 route:

https://tis-kml-stagecoach.s3.amazonaws....JAO230.pdf

Not to sure of the route 230 is going to take but it seems that most journeys during the daytime on 230 will be leaving Ashton about 1 minute before 231 although getting into Manchester earlier than 231. Going the other way it seems that most daytime journies on 230/231 will be getting into Ashton Bus Station at the same time as each other.

Apparently it follows the 168 route from Ashton (along Taunton Road, Newmarket Road etc) all the way to market street in Droylsden where it turns right onto Manchester road and then passes Tesco and follows normal 231 route into Manchester. It's the same the other way.

Are you sure about that as Clayton, Aldi not a timing point but Droylsden, Cemetery Road Tram Stop (Stop A) is so could turn off onto edge lane and north road

Not to sure whether or why it would go via Edge Lane and North Road as doesn't MCT's 217 do the same route, mind you it would be a viable alternative to 217 if 230 did go this way.
