Merseyrail is off between Rock Ferry and Hamilton Square at the moment so Arriva is running a rail replacement service, using B7's 4102, 4103 and Enviro400's 4415 & 4680. Broken down train at Birkenhead Central is the cause.

Noted on today's Sandhills - Moorfields - Hunts Cross rail replacement for Arriva were: 4117, 4592, 4624, 4631, 4646, 4652, 4666, 4672, 4699, 4714, 4832 and 4845. Also involved were the Big Coach Company's SP07HHJ, SJ57AAN and SV09EHC.

Others were Arriva 4446, 4123 and British Blue Tours of Birkenhead SA17HRS and SA17HRT (ADL Enviro 200 MMCs)

Worth bumping this thread as there is engineering works at Liverpool Central from 26/2 to 1/3, there are rail replacement buses between Moorfields and Hunts Cross for the whole period....hopefully 4699 might make an appearance??

I know some buses and drivers for the RR are provided by Bootle, but curious about how changeover happens. Are they temporarily stationed in Speke or changeover at Moorfields or run dead back to Bootle for changeover?
