Any intending passengers missed, could very well decide not to travel by bus again.

Are the 1 and 2 exclusive to Rock Ferry or do they share it with Chester?

Surely it would make more sense to swap out a single on the 2, 38 or 41 than put a decker on the 1? I assume they only go on this route for 1 or 2 journeys at a time while a single is sorted?

Enviro400 obvious is to stick a decker on the 41/42 as it passes RF depot and use the vehicle from the 41/2 on the 1 .

38 is 90% operated with singles as somebody said on here there is at least one double deck diagram on there for a capacity issue .

The decker was only out for 1 round trip until a single deck was avail after a school.

It is no longer shared with Chester but was at time of takeover.

19x out of 20, you'll pick up absolutely nobody between the wheatsheaf and Bache, if somebody is missed they're likely to complain, in which case as it was an allocation ie decker on diversion, then no doubt they'll offer vouchers or similar to win them round.

Given the high car ownership in the area, and the general household income, it would be very unlikely anyway.

That's not the point , to the passengers if there is any would see NO bus service as a bus that failed to turn up , they wouldn't be interested in the fact that the service did run but just used a diversionary route because it had an extra deck.

If you use that argument there is other parts of service 1 with high car ownership as well that could be missed out , ie beyond Mark and Spencers at Cheshire Oaks.

Saw it arriving at Rock Ferry depot at approx 1430, there was another RNW truck in the depot already as well. 18150 was on the 38 a little later on.
