Was a nice surprise to see Ribble heritage liveried 2596 heading out of Wigan this morning (11/08) on a 362 to Chorley. A nice change from the sapphire branded eclipses that are the usual fayre Saw it turning on to Riverway past the bingo place around 7.50am. Best wishes |

The 10 is still and always has been run out of Bolton Depot, in fact I think its safe to say that I think its been run out of Bolton Depot since Stagecoach ran it as M10 service. |

Come to think of it now 10 has moved depots quite a bit, it started as M10 under Stagecoach and was operated out of Bolton Depot then when Stagecoach sold Bolton Depot to Bluebus it stayed at Bolton for a bit before moving to Mode Wheel Depot (Eccles) with all the other Eccles/Salford local work and 99s. Mode Wheel Depot then closed and another Depot opened on Trafford Road in Eccles so it and all the Eccles work moved there. Then another moved happened when Arriva moved out of Hulme Hall Road Depot into the Depot behind Piccadilly Station and 10s moved there, then when that Depot closed the 10s moved back to their original Depot at Bolton. |

Spotted in Chorley a couple of Travellers Choice coaches today with ‘362 Wigan Bus Station’ as the destinations - are Arriva contracting out some journeys here (as well as down in Liverpool on the X1)? |

It will be the duplicate school journeys ran on behalf of Arriva leaving Chorley towards Wigan at 2.57pm and 3.07pm. |
