The Migrant Crisis at Calais is seemingly now causing problems to Eurotunnel operation on a regular basis now .

All services through the Channel Tunnel where suspended at 1530hrs when a freight train heading from the SNCF Reseau Freight Yard at Frethun to kent was stopped in the Channel Tunnel and searched and the migrants found .

At 19.00hrs this evening there was a 3.5 hour wait for Eurotunnel services at the FRench end and 1 hour wait at the UK end.

The daily battle is putting a severe strain not just on the security forces at the French end of the tunnel but must now be putting a strain on the finances of Eurotunnel as well.
