The only vehicle I can think of that actually was transferred (to Merseyside) was 3180 which came from the Midlands after I believe it was involved in an fatal collision (and was swapped with 2609)

I remember a few years ago reading an ECHO article about a bus (I believe it was a St. Helens vehicle) slammed on to avoid a collision, but in the process an elderly passenger on the bus was fatally injured, I don't remember what vehicle was involved but I don't ever recall it being transferred elsewhere afterwards...

Arriva have done that before up in the North East too, with something like Pulsars which are easily interchangeable it's quite an honourable thing to do on their part.
