First Manchester have been operating the Amazon contract from Airport Bus Station to Amazon for a number of months now. Not to sure where National Express Travel Solutions comes into it though as Swans had the contract for quite a number of years. |

RE: First Manchester
National Express Transport solutions had the Amazon contract (subbed out to Swans) but then last year First Travel Solutions won the contract. they then subbed it out to Atlantic Travel and I presume when Oldham got enough drivers, they then subbed it out to First Manchester. |

The Unite union have announced a planned series of strikes in July involving First Manchester drivers. Unite say the strikes are due to drivers being underpaid compared to Diamond, Go North West or Stagecoach depots in Greater Manchester. Strikes are scheduled to take place on the 3rd, 4th, 7th, 10th, 11th and 13th July with more scheduled if there is no resolution. https://www.unitetheunion.org/news-event...pay-offer/ |
