I can assure you they've been out since the beginning of May ;-) It's only over the past couple of weeks I've actually noticed their absence with MPDs, Solos and even the Solar covering 319 trips alongside the SLT Flolines.

S600SLT was on the 300 today, and I had a brilliant journey on it from Bolton to The Trafford Center! Big Grin

On the talk of Strawberry's scanias, T374 JWA was on the 319 today, working the last short 319 to Rainford of the day.

Mid August sometime I think. I'm dying to find out what there actually doing to it so I would really appreciate it if our resident expert on here can tell us as soon as he possibly can!

RE: South Lancs Travel - T42 PVM - 20/06/2012 21:06

thanks, something else to ride on its first day depending on what it is, i have a feeling its a re-route in rainford as thats what someone said they overheard

RE: South Lancs Travel - anw2015 - 20/06/2012 21:10

True, well if that's the case the only real possibility is to operate via Rainford Junction. We will just have to wait I suppose.

RE: South Lancs Travel - T42 PVM - 20/06/2012 21:15

correct really time speaks better that roumors

RE: South Lancs Travel - CX54 DKD - 20/06/2012 21:16

A re-route via the Junction wouldn't surprise me as a way of mimicking the 38. With the current timings of the short journeys, they're taking passengers from the 38 without a doubt. Either way, Chris from SLT assured me he'd let us all know as soon as he's able to!

Thanks for the note about the Strawberry Scania also Chris.

Yeah they seem to be doing well now. Personally I would increase the short to operate during peak times also as I'm sure they would do well.
