Anyone else noticed the pulsars seem to struggle up any form of hill?

Today on a 130 duty 2930 struggled with the climb out of alderley edge & up towards macc even though there was only 10 passengers!

Not sure if they have been fitted to theres but some depots have had something called ecnospeed fitted which reduces fuel usage which slows them down a bit.

3025 when at SH was awful for hill climbs especially on the 395

MM cheers for that, I know their trying to go green & cut fuel consumption etc but but it's strangling a pulsar.

Think the commanders thankfully don't have it. Also there's apparently been complaints from passengers lately about the 130s being overcrowded in peak hours. Single deckers are struggling it seems with the loadings & people have asked why can't it be DD instead.

If the AdBlue injectors are clogged up then this obviously has an impact on the emissions and if the emissions arent up to standard then engine power is reduced which could cause them to struggle. Should be able to tell this by the MIL emissions light beimg illuminated on the drivers dashboard.

I don't think that there are any spare deckers at any depots.

A couple of months after Sapphire vehicles started on the 263, Arriva are 'launching' the buses on Friday at Stretford Mall.

I am looking forward to Sapphire on route 263. I have read reports that only 3 Enviro300s will be included. I therefore wonder whether the others will still carry traditional livery and/or be cascaded to other routes?

Appears all the rest 2740-2749 were sapphired too, like the WIFI & charging points but not as keen on the leather seats though.

Certainly gonna be strange nxt time I'm down seeing some of the ex winsford cadets working 178 duties.

DAF President out last night on Sapphire 263s, must have been on a late duty as I saw it in Manchester ready to operate 21:25 journey to Altrincham, not often Wythenshawe have a decker out on a late duty these days
