I agree there, it shocks me that Arriva midlands lend the wales region more buses than the north west

Visit to the town centre today
timings in Rhyl were very bad today
35/36 operating late
plus 83/84 leaving bus station at the same time.
I also think arriva should rethink about extended 1 51 per hour to ruthin as I see so many people getting off at Denbigh then getting another bus gha 55 to ruthin. 8 people went off the arriva then onto gha at ruthin today.
also such a shame that the 12 does not operate to Conwy. would be nice to see a bus between Rhyl and Conwy like the old 16 service

To be fair the traffic in rhyl and surrounding areas is horrific during the summer months. The drivers and office staff me included all try very hard to keep all services running, even if that means running it late. My thought is that a bus turning up 15 or so minutes late is better then not turning up at all.
Not enough demand for a 51 to extend to Ruthin. Enough buses going to Conwy from Llandudno, doesn't need another service extending there.

Indeed it was, heavy traffic through Shotton and Flint causing delays to service 11, only spare buses were a Enviro200 or the Lowlander, so off it went!

Three observations.
First one, I notice the 1 serves Prestatyn High Street before coming back round to the bus station. A route I don't think has ever had a bus service, not in the last 20 years at least. Is there any reason why this new route has been introduced?
Second one, do buses on the 12 swap boards at Rhyl because if three arrive in close behind each other like is often the case, they all get dumped on the stand and the rear one seems to then often stay around for ages, with other later arrivals jumping the queue and going out first?
Last one, is the 51S still a double deck or now a Max spare?
