Plus it's pointless competition with the train, no need for it.

There's no money in express peak services, room ain't a problem as we can always squeeze in a couple of extra buses.

Also does anyone know of a service 32 or 33 arriva as it's on a few bus stops in flintshire

No, no plans for service changes. The work in the carpark opposite to the depot is to do with the road improvements, nothing to do with the depot.

Well pointless in that sense yes! But still despite the prices most would probably still prefer the train.

Swings and roundabouts , im sure Arriva could beat that train price if they wanted to but as they have a transport monopoly its not going to happen .

Had a trip out to Rhyl to see if I could catch up with the loans for the increased PVR on the 12 due to the closure of the blue bridge, managed 2425 & 2991 but never saw 2689.

2425 on Wellington Road with a 12A shuttle https://www.flickr.com/photos/dmc1947/16034458383/
2991 departing Rhyl Interchange for Holywell https://www.flickr.com/photos/dmc1947/16469031449/

Also had a look over the wall into the depot, 4142 still parked up (scrap/resell of open top conversion?) plus seemingly withdrawn 2342 https://www.flickr.com/photos/dmc1947/16652947631/

Plenty of MPD's still around!

2689 going back to St Helens tomorrow, leaving Rhyl just after two pm. Surprise visitor arriving late afternoon on loan for two weeks, can't reveal what though.
