One of their proposals is an extension of Blackpool's Tramway to Blackpool North Station.

We touched on this earlier on in the week on our blog, as far as I can gather, their primary role will be to allocate X amount of money to X organisation or 'item of improvement', that as one councillor put it, "shouts the loudest" of interest.

I'm personally particularly interested in the extension of the new tramway from the Promenade at North Pier to Blackpool North railway station as it was the newly formed Transport for Lancashire who approved the application.
