Hi all thought id start this thread. Cars parking on bus stops is a major problem at maghull station. Yesterday a cumfybus 231 had to pick up its passengers in the middle of the road as the bus stop had 3 cars parked on it and the bus couldn't get near some of the passengers were elderly ladies one of whom was nearly run over when one of the cars pulled off before she could step onto the bus this is a daily problem at maghull and needs to be sorted before someone gets killed.

An email to the local council might be a good first step.
A similar problem with mini cabs at Knutsford some evaporated after local traffic wardens issued a few tickets

Taxis are the worst offenders at doing it

Bus stop build outs were introduced where parked cars were a particular hazard .
Build out kept the bus in the road and so really didnt have to fight to get back out into the traffic as is the case with some lay-bys.
