The removal of Wigan North Western on some services was because the train was supposedly to be routed via Bolton which couldnt happen due to the delay in electrification.

Also because Northern had planned to run Manchester Airport to Blackpool as 319s so sent them via Wigan, stopping at Wigan instead of running Manchester Airport to Cumbria services via Wigan.

At Crewe Gresty Bridge 68029 has received the TPE Livery and 68020 will follow by the end of the week.

At Holyhead Anglesey Alumina is 57303 and 47812 with Mark 5A Set 1 which will be moved to Manchester International Depot (Longsight) in the morning via a run round at Crewe Basford Hall.

It wasn't a run-round, it was booked to propel from Gresty Lane, which I erroneously thought was only permitted with a loco and support coach - be interesting to know if 47812 was used to draw it back in the event.

At Crewe Gresty Bridge 68024 and 68032 are the 5th and 6th to receive TPE Livery, 68025 and 68026 have taken their place in the shed and will become the 7th and 8th to be done.

ECS Testing should get underway this week with paths into Carlisle and Bletchley.

Believe it took the triangle in the Gresty Lane area due to it running so late, 47812 was not used at all due to it failing the previous day.

No. it was timed via Gresty Lane presumably to ensure it was the same way round as all the other sets at Longsight.

Can’t be sure atm if it will run but overnight 68 + Mark 5 tests are in for tonight and tomorrow night as follows;
3K31 21:30 Manchester Int Depot to Stafford 23:10
3F31 23:25 Stafford to Warrington Bank Quay 00:46
3K32 02:20 Warrington Bank Quay to Stafford 03:44
3F32 04:53 Stafford to Manchester Int Depot 06:25

I certainly won’t lose any sleep over it if it doesn’t run! ???? But can’t be long now given daytime testing was supposedly meant to start this week.

Mk5 main line testing started this morning 68020 hauling a set to Rugby and propelling it back.
68025/6/7 were in Crewe CS in TP livery.
