RE: Presidential Travel/Napier Point - motormayhem - 12/08/2013 18:13 It will be good news for the drivers as it saves job losses. RE: Presidential Travel/Napier Point - mathias - 11/03/2014 16:44 Ex-MTL 6505 (L505 TKA) Volvo B10B/Wright Endurance seen racing through Bootle with "----School Service" on its yellow roller blinds. So it's no longer Arriva's Trainer 8215 then? Dark green painted skirting and no ARRIVA logos anywhere, mean I reckon its now owned by Presidential.... RE: Presidential Travel/Napier Point - CX06 EBK - 11/03/2014 17:06 It's been with Presidential since at least January. RE: Presidential Travel/Napier Point - mathias - 03/11/2014 16:25 Noted Presidential's latest acquisition today, ex-MTL North 0312, ArrNW 3312 (and latterly owned by Peoplesbus) (R312 WVR) Olympian/Palatine2 decker is here, painted in the old MTL-style livery. Spotted it on 'HF3' (school service) route. It's been given a black-painted rear bumper and it still seems to have the Arriva 'Tyne Bridge' moquette fitted. As seen at the depot... https://www.flickr.com/photos/80127860@N03/15548919821/ (Photo Credit; Daniel Anderton) Perfect bus for preservation?? As seen here 16 years ago, Queen Square.... https://www.flickr.com/photos/26270922@N08/6427738389/ (Photo Credit; James) RE: Presidential Travel/Napier Point - mathias - 11/09/2015 14:55 New term, new buses (sort of).... Presidential/Napier seem to have bought two new (secondhand) deckers for the new school term. Both are ex-Arriva London DLAs and both are still in their original London Red liveries. Ex-DLA173 (W373 VGJ) was London's oldest wheelchair-accessible bus up until very recently. Seen here in February... https://www.flickr.com/photos/31973233@N08/16469988447/ (Photo Credit; FF3170) Meanwhile, ex-DLA235 (X435 FGP) appears to be the other one. Seen here a few years ago.... https://www.flickr.com/photos/28175028@N03/7776334466/ (Photo Credit; M Webster) Both deckers seen this week on 'HF2-SCHOOL SERVICE' routes. RE: Presidential Travel/Napier Point - mathias - 24/03/2016 13:55 Four of Presidential's DLA deckers have now been given Irish number plates. Dual-door ex-DLA235 (X435 FGP) is now (MIG 9501) Meanwhile, single-door conversion ex-DLA238 (X438 FGP) is now (MIG 9502). This bus used to be with Arriva Midlands and latterly it was D&G 178. Notable for its distinctive orange colour and LED display. Seen here last year with D&G... https://www.flickr.com/photos/34487875@N07/22424693237/ (Photo Credit; cliff the milk) Another single-door DLA -possibly ex-DLA371 (LJ03 MVC)- is now (MIG 9503) and it is now painted dark blue. Finally, dual-door ex-DLA173 (W373 VGJ) has now been re-registered to (MIG 9504). Hope this helps! RE: Presidential Travel/Napier Point - SK15 GZG - 26/08/2016 20:10 MIG 9501 was at Arriva's Green Lane depot this morning |
