British Lions - DVL418 - 22/06/2013 22:03

Phew, that was a close run thing. Dodgy

Despite the referee being diaboliical/incomptent/bent (take you pick) Australia still managed to throw it away. However, whilst there will hopefully be a more competent refereee next week, Australia will surely find a decent kicker so the Lions will have to raise their game - another cracker in prospect

British lions won the final deciding test match match today in Sydney , in the end The British Lions Beat Austraila by 41-16.

Australia didnt seem in the match except for about 10 minutes either side of Half Time .

The Lions front row were magnificent today, crushing the Wallabies up front and providing a platform for a well deserved victory.

Still good to see 100% respect for the referees and touch judges by both sides throughout this tense and very physical test series. Not something we expect from professional footballers anymore though.

Great tour for the Lions and Warren Gatland has been vindicated too. The vitriol in certain sections of the press was quite disgraceful. As a Wales fan, I know he has worked wonders for us and is an intelligent man. He wouldn't drop a "legend" like O'Driscoll for nothing.

Garland is a Kiwi. To them winning is the only aim, he would have dropped every welsh player in the squad if he thought it was the right thing to do to secure victory.

Trouble is the World Cup is still over two years away and his fantastic welsh side may have already 'peaked' something New Zealand have suffered from in past years. Therefore, expect to see some big welsh names missing for next year's six nations, whilst the younger English lads should have benefitted greatly from the tour.

Well, that's my hope anyway Blush
