Can't see it with the 30 regesterd as Monday to Saturday, & the 210/250 being Evening & Sunday services.

Buses might do the 30 during the daytime on Mondays to Saturdays, and then do the 130/210/250 during the evening. The 130/210/250 start too early on Sundays, which makes sense - no 30 runs on Sundays!

Wonder what route it might take?

Have impera got the 250 as well?

RE: VOSA Bus Registration Search - First Class - 20/06/2012 14:59

A real backward step for the 130/210.

From what I can find, they have a tiny, aged fleet.

Do they even have enough buses? Wiki suggests they have 7 low floor vehicles, the newest of which date from 1999.

They have far more than that, take a look at their fleetlist. http://dartslf.com/fleetlists/impera/

Whilst slightly better outlook after reading their fleetlist (and disregarding wiki!!), it is still disheartening to see that Impera's newest bus is 10 years old.

Merseytravel always fail to see that the 130/210/241/250 series of routes can be full and standing on a Sunday, especially due to match days, lack of an Arriva service and the frequency of Stagecoach routes.

Oh come on, they're a new company! You should be giving them credit to see they are expanding.

Newer buses come with time, once they're making enough of a profit. Unlike the big groups or other established operators, they've not got the capital to splash out on new buses.

Unfortunately I remain skeptical, especially after Supertravel dissapeared from the 130/210 routes...

Merseytravel should not be allowing 10 year old, small sized buses on their contracts, regardless of who the operator is.

My other concern with Impera is the fact they are Wirral based. Delays/congestion on the Wirral (especially around the tunnel), suddenly start affecting the North & South Liverpool suburbs adversely. Impera need to have a bus up at Old Roan ready for a 1806 weekday departure, yet it needs to go through heavy tunnel traffic, congestion down County Rd/Walton Road, Black Bull etc. Easily need to allow an hour from the tunnel entrance to Old Roan... If it interworks first, then delays are compounded further.

The 130/210/241/250 has changed hands so many times! CMT, GTL, Stagecoach, Arriva, Supertravel, Cumfybus, Impera!
(Arriva still do the morning 250)
