That's a shame with the MPDs leaving Wrexham after been there so long. The Versas from obs on a few visits since GHA folded appear to feature less on the X4 and more on other routes, 999 for instance was on the 12 on Saturday.
The Versas will be useful at Wrexham with extra capacity for a good number of routes, including as cover on route 5 rather than using a Sapphire spare as we often see.
Wonder how long before someone gets a photo of one of Oswestry's Versas straying onto the 2/2A/2B/2C and in the same shot as 998/999 in Wrexham!

I just find it a rather strange move considering the Versa's are for Locals and not Llangollens.

This route is having various changes from the new year which includes the route being reduced to every 30 minutes

Feck knows why but cheshire west still haven't pulled their finger out & awarded the 82 to anyone yet. Rumour going about is arriva may keep it.
4645 seems to be a permanent regular on 82s now, strange as it's full sapphire spec which I thought they'd want to keep on the wrexham duties & use a regular bus on these.

It is better on the 82 as it is always back in Chester every 2 hours and could be easier getting it back on the 10's if needed as both services operate into the Bus Exchange

4645 on Wrexhams? think you'll find your mistaken there Service 1 is operated by Wrexham depot not Chester.

Sorry about that must've got mixed up somewhere!
Good news is apparently the new bus station is opening early 2017 according to what I've read on the web. Looks much better with it having toilets/info kiosk & a shop too, plus it's all undercover which will be better than having to suffer the arctic winds that blow around the exchange!
