RE: HTL Buses - T42 PVM - 03/12/2016 15:05

BF62 JZT is on the 152/153 today! When this was an hourly Service it got busy so this is far to short for the Service

RE: HTL Buses - ant17612 - 06/12/2016 00:27

The big green bin aka X338SKJ has been on the 156 route tonight.

RE: HTL Buses - T42 PVM - 06/12/2016 00:36

Its just route 56 but HTL being HTL have not updated the Dests, Why a Bus with only 12 Seats and no standing allowed has been allocated to that Service to begin with is a joke, Not to mention its not even DDA...

RE: HTL Buses - CX06 EBK - 06/12/2016 01:06

The driver took it out through choice, destinations are not updated as they are earlier card types and they only seem to have the USB type now. Worse than that, SF05 GFJ was on the Garston Circulars (288, I think) all day. YJ16 DYP, which should have been on that 56 tonight ended up on the 60/140/141.

RE: HTL Buses - T42 PVM - 06/12/2016 01:34

If thats the case then why was the Driver allowed to take it? Its not got the required number of Seats for the Tender, its to old for the contract and its not DDA Compliant, Whoever was on the desk should not of allowed that to happen

RE: HTL Buses - CX06 EBK - 06/12/2016 02:20

I don't work on the desk so can't answer your questions, nor would I like to speculate beyond saying SKJ was due to go out on a late for at least an hour due to non availability of a bus. With BMZ away for repairs again along with J8, MX54 KXW being off the road and V980 XUB being withdrawn amongst other things, the availability of buses has been really poor. I'm not defending them but I can only say what I see.

They could also do with fixing Buses like YJ11 EKM witch has not moved in almost 2 years now

The problem again is optare products as i just don't think they are a good a product as ADL or VOLVO which seem to give more for your money.

I'm not so sure, plenty of operators big and small use Solos and have very few problems with them.

Every company I've worked for who as had them seem to have to same problem with the ones with mercedes engines and thats the turbos , the cummins powered ones seem to be fine but i just think optares products can't match up to the likes of ADL or VOLVO but thats just my personal view.
