Registartions for 3 new Optares are YJ12PNK, YJ12PNN and YJ12PNL which is on the 211 route... They also have ex Nottingham Optares W601PTO, W602PTO,W603PTO and W958PAU in the depot to act as spares or to replace any hire vehicles tat are due back

I passed HTL's depot today and noticed at least one of those Nottingham Solos is in the depot, still in Nottingham light green livery at the far side of the depot nearest to the recycling place next door!
A sighting for yesterday too was Dart MPD SN06 BMV on the 173/174!

Speaking of Nottingham Solos, W601 PTO was on the 101 today still in full Nottingham livery. Sadly never got a chance to see the front and what destination equipment it had.
Unusual sighting for SN06 BMV (again!), that was on the 897 today.

I saw two of the new Solos today, YJ12 PNK is on the 187 (Hope University - Liverpool South Parkway) and YJ12 PNN on the 188 (Garston - South Liverpool Circulars).
These seem almost identical to the previous M710SEs other than they don't have front Optare badges, just the plain black bar across the front, but they do have rear Optare badges!

W603 PTO in service on the 258 today, still in full Nottingham livery bar any logos. Not a bad bus, tad on the sluggish side and a few idle vibrations, but good buys as far as I am concerned, ideal capacity as well! Not too bad inside, nothing a quick spruce up wouldn't sort. Interesting feature is the doors, 2 piece but fold together towards the front (Similar to Leyland Titans if that helps anyone!!!

Didn't Cumfybus have a couple of these ex Nottingham Solos? Not to sure whether they've still got them though also I'm sure the 2 piece folding doors was an option available that not many operators apart from Nottingham took up. Just like there seemed to be an option for fully double glazed windows like Blackpool Transport specified on their earlier Solos

W958 PAU was on the 897 at some point this week as well (either Monday or Tuesday), so that's all the ex Nottingham Solos noted out in use.
