Does anyone know when the liverpool city centre and woolton village christmas lights are getting switched on please? Is anyone going to any switch ons? Am deffo going to woolton village and hope to go to liverpool.

Just found out that the liverpool switch on took place yesterday bugger! missed that one then any idea when woolton village switch on is?

Imagine FM are presenting a Christmas lights switch-on in Stockport next Wednesday, 14th, featuring Steps and Matt Cardle. No, I won't be going either. Then Sam and Lorna from Real Radio are presenting a Christmas lights switch-on in Preston next Saturday, 17th.

Woolton village christmas lights switch on is this saturday 24th nov and ormskirks are getting switched on next friday 30th nov.

As the season is almost upon us again (Where has this year gone?) I thought I'd revive this thread.
One fairly close to home is that Georgia May Foote (Katy in Corrie) is due to switch the Christmas lights on in Bury on Thursday November 7th. Then Gabriella Cilmi and the Luminites will perform at the switch-on in Stockport on Wednesday November 13th. That's all ..... for now!

In reply to my previous post Woolton village christmas lights are being switched on at 4:15 PM today Maghulls and Ormskirks were switched on last night the ormskirk ones were switched on by Bruce Jones who played Les Battersby in Corrie.

Ormskirk is a lovely place. Surely they could've done better than Les Battersby?
