With the cadets more or less due to be withdrawn next it the north west/wales fleet along with the lowlanders at bangor, it wouldn’t suprise me if it has been withdrawn and used as a donor vehicle to the remaining fleet of cadets.

Some of you may have thought a 54 reg to be withdrawn but cadets at runcorn (55 plate) are really nakerd and would be more cost effective for the business.
Anything is possible as well as it being a pool bus.

Does anyone know if 2522 is still here? That was due to go to Rhyl but I haven't heard anything about it heading there

It’s had a new engine and repaint - but now it’s been stripped yet again.

I got told it was withdrawn. I think it is more likely a pool bus too.

To be fair the X8**AJA batch of Wright Crusader 2's were withdrawn around a similar age, with only some retained in service at Arriva Scotland, to replace older high-floor vehicles.

As were a few darts, 7642 springs to mind for example.

They spend as much time on 110 and 79C as they do on X1. Think it's Sapphire and gas buses that operate the X1.

How often do Runcorn's Gas Buses get onto 110 these days, I only ask as I saw one on there on Sunday evening and it was first time I'd seen a Gas Bus on 110 as in the past its usually been either Pulsars or Cadets.

Mainly cadet operated but normally has at least one gas bus and one sapphire on at anyone time.

Are the Cadets allocated to any particular route or do they just go on anything?

Thanks in advance Smile
