Moorsbus allocation today was as followed:

Darlington working: 1492
Stockton working: 1494
Redcar working: 1771

With 1771 at Redcar, 1737 was on-loan to its former home of Stockton depot working the 7 and the last 6.

And once again, Redcar had MPD 1757 on one of their 2 93/X93 workings alongside 4081. Meanwhile, Whitby had 4651/5 are their non-decker workings with 7501/7 the only two Enviro400s seen while a third was sighted in Redcar depot (possiably 7502, which would make the other 93/X93 7504).

Arriva in South Tyneside

Nice to see Arriva operating the metro replacement service 901 from Gateshead to Brockley Whins, this service is usually Go North East operated so change of scenery for drivers and for us bus users nice to see different company.

Would be good and interesting if Arriva decided to register some services in South Tyneside and go into competition with Go North East who no longer have any depots in the area.

Stockton's Moorsbus allocation today was 1455.

Apparently after the service 7 between Darlington and Durham gets Pulsars in October, to the Sapphire specification and the service gets relaunched... Stocktons service 7 will also under a similar transformation, with 7 new Optare Solo SRs on order, I believe due in January 2014. This will form part of a transformation of this service with leather seats, free wi-if etc. Another extra step will be the formation of a separate rota which should see a dedicated team of drivers operate the 7 all of the time. I understand there will also be a few service changes, although these are still in the early stages so can't say too much (yet) that will see Arriva attempt to regain some of the market that has been lost around the Yarm area. This may include a peak service to Kirklevington extending to/from Willey Flatts.

1/5 PVR is indeed 10.

Service 7 PVR is actually 10, as buses layover for 15 mins at Durham.

Service 6 PVR altogether is 11 as stated.

metro replacement

White TGM Decker S236 JOA was on metro replacement today, is this Arriva or was it subcontracted from Classic?

On-loan. Remember that Arriva own TGM the parent group of Classic so loans during Metro Replacements are common.
