Is the x6 to killingworth supposed to be some form of competition for the x63 because it goes the exact same route to killingworth but the x63 always has the most people on it, it was better when it was the 56 and went past killingworth every half hourly instead of hourly

How many Ikarus and onmicites do Darlo have now,I believe X66 use the scania's but what do the Dafs work?

RE: Arriva North East - Stuart - 31/10/2012 21:46

darlo have 3 ikarus 4077/8/9 4077 spent today on 2's
4644/5/7/54/56 usually found on X66 or occasionally 7/1/1B

Dafs we have 4024/32/41/57 sometimes used on anything

Lately I have noticed the X1 'Best One' seems to be carrying a lot more passengers.
Has their been an special promotion on this route...to rival Ok1.If not possibly down to running 5mins earlier than OK1 and a more direct route to Darlo than 1/B.
Which is the cheaper bus from Bishop to Darlo?

RE: Arriva North East - Stuart - 01/11/2012 21:43

now that the x1 goes into shildon the service 1/1B have lost a lot of passengers, this is because the 1/1b go through the little villages, The X1 does a day ticket which is £4 to get from crook-Bishop-Darlington all day, im not sure how much the OK1 charges

Probably because the red livery was intended to be for the remaining ex-GNE routes so why would it remain when it moved to Blyth. Makes it only the second example painted into new livery after 7364.

Pulsar 1494 was on the 7 yesterday, meanwhile the 15 had one of the 'old order' on - Cadet 1906.

Also yesterdy, OmniCity 4655 made a (slightly less unusual) appearance on the X3/X4.
