Stockton Pulsar 1460 appeared on the 7 today, replacing 1769 at half 11.

We'll have to wait and see what happens with regards to this one. As for whether the driver tried attempting it or whether there was no prior warning, better not speculate.

I would assume that when he actually stopped the bus the water wasn't this high. He might have stopped just before the flood and then the water has risen to this level. I can't imagine any driver even attempting to get through it since they all know that the road dips.

Indeed, but as I said, let's not speculate over how it happened. However, this does seem like the most logical explanation.

Pulsars aren't so rare on the Alnwick & Berwick routes - probably be regular over the summer considering the three-way swap to enable decker operation on the 93/X93.
