Confirmation today:

Enviro400 7512/3 are now full-time allocations at Redcar, the Spectras will remain at Ashington for school service
Enviro400 7516/21 have moved from Ashington to Blyth in exchange for the mentioned DB300 7624/5. 7624/5 are two of the four examples originally proposed for allocation to Ashington for the 518. They are reportedly due to be joined by the other two tachographs-fitted examples 7616/7.

Prestige 4044 was on the 64a/X3/X4 today. Meanwhile, Darlington had Pulsar 1510 and MPD 1762 on the X66 after 4657 broke down on the A66 Hartington Interchange slip road heading into Middlesbrough.

OmniCity 4654 made an unusual appearance on the 28/30 today as a changeover for 4069. It will currently be on its way to Whitby on the last 5.

SightSeeker Enviro400s 7501 and either 7502 or 7504 were on the 64 today, on the first weekday of the 2013/2014 winter timetable on the X93. In contrast, Temsa 4702 was on the X93, which suggests this has been fitted with a tachographs.

Pulsar 1453 ended up on the 28/30 this afternoon and will work the 28B at 1830 from Nunthorpe.

Thank you for bringing this pic to our attention Kuyoyo. Funnily enough, I was only this morning imagining coming to Durham and Newcastle next June, and riding one from Durham to Darlington to connect with Richmond and a Dales Bus from there! You predicted a few months ago that these Sapphire Pulsar 2s will run on Sundays. I shall check with you nearer the time that this does then happen.

They will be - the timetable change on the 7 in two weeks removes the evening/Sunday interworking with the 5a (which will instead interwork with the X66 on Sundays).

So, will these Pulsar 2s enter service in 2 week time with the new timetable? I'm sure October 2013 had long been touted for this upgrade.

They enter service sometime in November I understand
