It seems that the new Fairbrothers services are in pretty much direct competition with Network Warrington, but with the 21x omitting Orford Park.

21x departs Warrington at 25 and 55 from 0855 to 1555 (1425, 1455, 1525 are SH only).
16x doesn't have a timetable yet, but it seems it's departing at 02 and 32 from 0902 to 1602 (1432, 1502, 1532 are SH only).

I wish they would get the displays sorted out on their vehicles!
I know some are recent additions to the fleet, but still it seems that only the B6's are those in regular public service with decent displays ... and they are soon to leave!
In contrast to NW's polished look, they don't come across well.

That was proved before when Arriva tried to launch an attack on WBT in the mid 1990s.

I take it the job didn't last long at Fairbothers then LOL

Its often the case, and yet you get some drivers that will only work for small operators and wont go near the big boys, yet other drivers, prefer the bigger companies.

This is true. I loved driving around Warrington to be honest, it's a decent small operator just hope they get more numbers..

I can confirm that palatine N271 CKB has indeed left the fleet, and the other 2 are to stay for the forseeable future at least.

Do you know where it has gone to? It had a terrible habit of pulling to the left at bus...

Gone down to Bristol, not sure which company but South Glos coaches seem to have a soft spot for that fleet of olympians, they bought 305-308.

It lived at Arriva Speke garage for the last few years of its life, they arnt the best at looking after things - when it arrived back at Birkenhead in 2011 for rail replacements the mechanics noticed it hadnt had a proper service for months - the radiator was full of muck and hadnt been cleaned for ages - so not suprised it had a habit of pulling to the left!

Ill let you know if i hear anything of its exact whereabouts
