08527 was sent to Trafford Park instead and the shunter to arrive at Garston is 08924. This loco is no stranger to the area having been new to Edge Hill in 1962 transferring to Allerton when closed in 1966. It left the area in 1990.
The last northbound car train operated by DBS was this morning operated by 90035. The return was due to be taken south by 66736. From next week CLss 66 are due to take over the service.

The first Dagenham to Garston car train operated by GBRf yesterday had 66736 up to Crewe and 92010 for the final leg to Garston

New 66752-56 have been delivered from the USA via Newport Docks to EMD at Doncaster Roberts Road.

66752 has been names "The Hoosier State".
66738 has been named "Huddersfield Town"

GBRf are reported to have bought 59003 which currently operates for Heavy Haul Power International in Germany. Originally built by General Motors in Illinois, USA for Yeoman Rail it moved to Germany in 1997. It is expected to return to the UK in the next couple of weeks.

59003 has now returned to the UK after seventeen years in Germany. It is currently at Immingham awaiting movement to Eastleigh for repair and repaint into GBRf livery.

New 66760 is the first of the recently delivered locomotives to work on Merseyside. It is now operating on the Liverpool BT to Ironbridge PS biomass trains with 66702 and 66731.

There are currently four locos on the Liverpool/Seaforth to Ironbridge PS circuit. These are 66702 66723 66731 and 66738.
