Shortly after the collapse of GHA some ten vehicles were re-possessed by Close Brothers Finance and were taken to the yard of Bakers Travel, Knypersley, Stoke-On-Trent and offered for sale by Harringtons. During the last 15 months only AA06 GHA, WX05 XVN and W465 WGH appear to have been sold. The latter, which is a President, to a dance troupe in the Eccles area. The other seven have now been taken to an auction and are to be sold on 11th November 2017. - LINK -

Doesn't look like they bothered to clean some of the buses internally before taking photos!

They were not internally cleaned or clean when in Service. I would not worry.

Probably gems of collectors Items on there somewhere to the right people haha

Yes but if you're selling the bus spending £50 giving the bus a deep clean might increase it's value by a few hundred.

Removing the rubbish and giving the floor a mop would do a lot to increase appeal to potential buyers. Not sure on the deep clean though.

Facebook reported that ex-GHA (Flintshire Council Owned) two Silver Optare Versas YJ09 OTN/R at BCA Auction at Manchester at the moment. Another two not know yet.

CN57EFD now being offered for sale by Stafford Bus Centre - it would appear Harringtons Coaches have ceased as a dealer as well as operator as the premises are for sale.

Six of the seven Council owned ex-GHA vehicles will be auctioned by Stoodley at Belle Vale, Manchester on 20th Feb 2018 at 1.00 pm - LINK

It's a crying shame that these vehicles have been left unused since July 2016. All listed for auction were driven to Flint but now they're none-runners and their value will be significantly less than it would have been had they been disposed of within a reasonable amount of time whilst still driveable. All of this due to complete neglect and poor management by Flintshire County Council. The council should be ashamed of the way they have handled these public assets.

EDIT: Just to add some context to the above, these vehicles also stood for over twelve months when they were first purchased, see this article. It seems that Flintshire just don't learn.

Former GHA Coaches YJ09OTS has been delivered to Express Motors on the back of a recovery truck

I looked although the fence of Davies Motors yard in Ruthin on Saturday evening on passing, former Flintshire Versas that operated with GHA have now appeared in the yard, YJ09 OTP and YJ09 OTR.
