Arriva Click does Responsive transport solutionsthat what local link is they have done it in partershop in other areas. Arriva North West is a bus company they would have to get a private hire License and drivers need to be licensed for it also. For local link so it would be a Arriva Click not Arriva North West if they did go for local link. That Reason Local link in Manchester is run by taxi firms apart from MCT when they did it but they got a licene for it. Same as ring and ride they need it too

Arriva Click no longer operates in the North West...

Do they still run a hybrid bus service 211 in Liverpool

For now. I'll be very surprised if it's still going in a year's time

That aside I would say when you consider Arriva's service reductions in Greater Manchester the chances of them going for the local link tenders are very small to zero

RE: Arriva Click - The Falcon - 05/12/2020 16:45

ArrivaClick operate former service 211 as the ArrivaClick Speke Zone via the same system as DRT services elsewhere.

They operate the 201 Speke to Royal Hospital bus route.

The also operate the Clatterbridge Hospital park and ride contract in Liverpool.

There is nothing to say they can’t look at other opportunities in the North West and across the U.K. as a whole.

I believe they have kept same fleet numbers with the addition of SC added.

Branding has been applied to show in partnership with Redrow and Henley Camland housing and Ebbsfleet Valley logos.

ArrivaClick 1040 RJ19HXD has now been permanently transferred to Leicester Click based at Hinckley. It was being used at Southport.

10 other buses currently remain on loan across North West and 2 in Yorkshire. However with Rural Bus Funding its is planned that all buses will be relocated to launch new sites over the next 6-12 months.
