Stagecoach reducing services in the Chester area from 18 January. Similar to the services in south Lancashire, where weekday services will operate to Saturday timetables.

It's not the best wording as it's actually a Saturday Enhanced timetable. It looks the exact same as the Christmas timetables.

RE: North West Bus Service Changes due to Coronavirus outbreak - St Helens Rider - 19/01/2021 15:37

I have just looked at Arriva's timetables on their website from Monday in the St Helens area and the new timetables look identical to the present timetables with no reduction unlike the original lock down.

RE: North West Bus Service Changes due to Coronavirus outbreak - Mayneway - 21/01/2021 22:37

Operators in Manchester are likely to announce reductions in service levels from 31st January in the coming days. Go north west have today told drivers they will be reducing services as have Arriva. TFGM are also believed to be reducing the tendered network by 50% from same day so hourly services become 2 hourly etc. I’d imagine there will also be announcements from First and Stagecoach too.

Whilst Stagecoach Manchester doesn't appear to have updated the PDF timetables yet, you can see it being updated on the bustimes.org website like the following:

RE: North West Bus Service Changes due to Coronavirus outbreak - St Helens Rider - 27/01/2021 10:57

Hattons have reduced the 12 & 60 down to Hourly but a week later than previously (briefly) published. Interestingly the 12 now leaves St Helens at xx30 (opposite to lock down 1) and starts at 0830 (half an hour earlier than normal).

Like with Stagecoach, I can see updated Arriva timetables like the 263 on Bus Times:
https://bustimes.org/services/263-piccadilly-gardens-to-altrincham-interchange?date=2021-02-01

...and Diamond with services like the 8:
https://bustimes.org/services/8-manchester-bolton-2?date=2021-02-01

I can't see updates - yet - for Go North West or First Manchester via this site.

Not sure if it counts as Northwest but due to driver shortages at High Peaks Dove Holes Depot a number of services including 58 Buxton-Macclesfield at the moment are being operated by D&G out of their Adderley Green Depot.

D&G Solo 134 - YJ57 XWM being used on the 58 route today and 128 - DX07 WFA being used on the reduced (2 hourly) 14 & 19 routes.

Also note on the High Peak website it says for the 14, 19 & 58 routes:

A £2.20 Adult single flat fare and £1.50 Under 18 flat fares will be available to buy on bus.

£2.20 single - excellent value for Macclesfield to Buxton but poor value for Macclesfield to Langley!

There's also a lot of buses sitting at Doves Holes doing nothing according to Bus Times.
