Fiddlers Ferry to Close - T42 PVM - 13/06/2019 19:00

It has been announced today that Fiddlers Ferry Power Station is to close in March 2020, I was wondering how much Coal is still transported by Rail? Is it still regular or is it just the odd Freight move here and there?

Well there's a few paths booked for freight movements in to Fiddlers Ferry but doesn't look like any of them were used today: http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/search/advanced/FDLRFHH/2019/06/13/0000-2359?stp=WVS&show=all&order=wtt

I imagine that there will be a few railtours around there before it closes.

And what will be the future of the Warrington LL to Ditton line?
