37240 has been acquired and moved over to Nottingham Eastcroft Depot from the Llangollen Railway, a reinstatement to mainline operation is in planning.

37240 and 50050 have been announced as visitors for the Mid Norfolk Railway Diesel Gala in April.

37240 has been out on a test moving 37099 from Nottingham Eastcroft to Derby RTC and returning with 37219. It looks amazing in Transrail Grey ‘Big T’ Livery. However the loco developed a few faults which may see it out of action for a bit longer.
