I thought this would be higher with the amount of Enviro400's on the road with Stagecoach. http://www.route-one.net/articles/Landmark__ADL_builds_world_s_10_000th_low_floor_decker_bus Edit:low floor added RE: Alexander Dennis - buses7675 - 15/12/2017 01:21 The 10,000 is for Dennis/TransBus/Alexander Dennis chassis though so doesn't include any other chassis that have ADL bodywork but I guess does include Tridents with other manufacturers bodywork. Ah I see, I had questioned myself on its reliability but it coming from Route One was the decider. RE: Alexander Dennis - buses7675 - 16/12/2017 02:03 I only knew about that detail (about it being the chassis only) as Alexander Dennis posted that on their Facebook page after someone asked a similar question! RE: Alexander Dennis - lenno121 - 17/12/2017 19:00 In the Copart pound in Saltney, there is a Dennis Dart 10.7m from 2000, it is missing some body panels but looks clean otherwise. Red with silver wheels and transport for london livery. I managed a ride earlier on ADL's 10,000th example of their Enviro400 MMC registered as YX67UZB. Whilst it was a nice bus to ride on with suspension absorbing bumps, great turn of speed, USB sockets and phone holders, it lacked WiFi enabling access to the internet and video streaming. I found the coach style leather seats extremely comfortable and wouldn't disappoint on long journeys. But what disappointed me was its colour combination of a light black tinted windows and the grey interior. It would have been much brighter with a lighter shade of black or no tint at all. |
