Chester Heritage Tours operated their last tour of the city yesterday, Wednesday 30 May. It is believed that owner/operator Mike Edwards has decided to call it a day after many seasons operating around Chester in 946WAE, the replica of a London General B type body on a 1960's Bedford chassis. The bus itself has apparently been sold to a buyer in the London / Essex area. The website has a short message confirming that operations have ceased - http://www.chesterheritagetours.co.uk.
Oddly, the service has not been cancelled with the Traffic Commissioners.
