December 2018 timetable now in RTT. No changes except some minor timing tweaks, some additional calls added in on a few services and through trains between Preston and York reinstated.

Is there going to be a resolution in this dispute ?

RE: Northern (Arriva Rail North) - knutstransport - 20/09/2018 19:53

Unlikely. Seems RMT at Northern won't accept the national RMT's position of the driver can do the doors if there's a second person who is safety trained, meaning they'd reject the offer the RMT at Anglia accepted.

The bigger difference with this dispute is going to be there will still be routes operated by units that are not capable of being operated in DCO mode , Southern was a lot easier to go that way , because of the bigger prevalance of that sort of operation in southern england

At last. 769434 was out on test on the GCR yesterday. Lets hope that everything goes well and we will see them at Allerton Depot soon.

331001 made its first test run during the night from Edge Hill to St Helens Central.

RTT and loco lists suggest the 331 was hauled from Edge Hill for testing in a possession.
